New Jatukam Ramathep Amulet Videos

Green Ceramic Background - Solid SIlver Buddha Amulet from ThailandIf you want to see some of the Jatukam amulets we have in a video where we go through and talk about the ones we have, we are in the process of uploading 3 separate videos to Youtube to share the information with you.

There are many kinds of Jatukam Ramathep amulets, but basically the Jatukam Style is:

  • Round, flat like a coin or only moderately raised
  • Jatukam Ramathep on the front, or Buddha
  • The temple the amulet came from on the reverse, or, a sacred geometrical yant design
  • Jatukam is sometimes surrounded by demons

The Jatukam craze has died down recently, yet most people in Thailand are still wearing and buying these amulets – especially from the original temple where these amulets were first inspired and created. The name of the temple is Wat Mahathat. We visit often, and we buy the best Jatukam amulets they have each time we see them. We have a number of solid silver, plated silver, tri-color, solid copper, and gold Jatukam amulets in our collection. Some we will sell, well, most we will sell, but we will also keep at least one of each style for ourselves in our own collection. The value of these amulets is increasing each year as there are no more new ones being made. We have some excellent Jatukam Ramatheps – if you want the best, ask us which you should have for your own unique and rare collection.

This is another just like the one above. The color is a little different., a little darker - with more black jade. These are exceptionally rare items that the temple just doesn't sell all the time. They release them gradually over time. We haven't seen this amulet for over five years now. We immediately bought it when we did see it!

New Jatukam Ramathep Amulets for 2014 – Page 1

We just returned from a trip to the local temple where the Jatukam Ramathep amulets originated. Each time we go it seems more difficult to find quality, I mean really premium Jatukam amulets. This time we were at the temple for over seven hours and we really hit every place we know to find the best amulets possible. The result is below – these are some images of our newest inventory. These are not yet on the ThaiAmuletSales.com main website, and they won’t be there for a number of days until we can update that site. We’ll add a price and item number to each of the amulets below so you can email us if you want to purchase any of them before they go live at the main amulet market place on our site.

Some people write email to ask us, “Are Thais still buying Jatukam amulets in 2014?”

The answer is ‘yes.’ We live in Southern Thailand, so everywhere we look someone has a Jatukam amulet on their neck. What we don’t see are temples outside of Nakhon Si Thammarat selling Jatukams any longer, or, in very reduced numbers. Thais are tending toward buying only at the original temples for these powerful amulets. This makes sense, as every Buddhist temple in Thailand seemed to jump on the bandwagon five and more years ago as the craze for these amulets was hitting its peak. Micro temples with no affiliation with the temples in Nakhon si Thammarat were hiring minting machines, renting and buying them to make new Jatukam Ramathep amulets to try to cash in on them. Though many amulets were sold from these temples, there was a glut. The market was absolutely flooded with them. As a result, many people felt like the amulets they bought for $100 to $500 each were not really worth what they paid. This resulted in a coming back to the originators of the sacred amulets.

All of these below are originals direct from Wat Mahathat in Nakhon si Thammarat, Thailand. We have some really exceptional finds we were able to source from some of our long-time friends at the temple. Each time we go the selection gets smaller and smaller. If you are interested in owning an original Jatukam, act now and get something before we sell our last collection.

Thanks to all the buyers we’ve had for these amazing amulets!

New Solid Silver Jatukam Ramathep Amulets from Nakhon

We just returned from a trip to Nakhon si Thammarat, where we were able to again find some very unique amulets – these, solid silver Jatukam Ramathep style amulets, from our favorite temple – Wat Mahathat in the city center.

We found about five unique solid silver amulets that we have not seen before. These are originals, straight from the original source of the Jatukam amulets of Thailand. These are not copies, they are blessed (the temple sells no unblessed amulets), and they are great collector’s items to hand down as you pass, so your family can enjoy them and hand them down to their own kids.

If you don’t have any blessed Buddhist items to hand down to your children and grandchildren, these are the perfect gifts. We priced them right – see here:
