Wat Tham Seua, Tiger Cave Temple
Krabi Noi, Thailand
This is one of the original first edition amulets from the temple - which have been copied ever since. The copies originating from the temple are still authentic - but they are from successive series, and not the original like this one. Thais give a higher rating to originals in the series - and this one is as high as they come for this style shield amulet. This lucky amulet is made of pure copper. It has already discolored with age, turning a darker brown/copper color.
At any time, you can clean it with copper cleaning solution and estore it to new appearance, but Thais don't seem to ever clean theirs. Up to you. The reverse side of the shield has a pot of gold / money in the center which has 5 sacred Pali characters on it. This amulet was designed for luck with personal finances... money in business. People from the USA, Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong are the most frequent buyers of Ajahn Jumnien's amulets in this style.
The reason is probably because he travels to these places often to give talks about meditation. We have just one of these rare amulets in stock - and have never seen an original like this at the temple. If you have been looking for one, get this now - we will likely never have another one.
