This is the Jatukam amulet that started us on the path to acquiring as many premium Jatukam Ramathep amulets as possible over these past four years of selling them. There were two styles made, this gold, and a white version. Both are exceptionally well made. Now they have become very rare and the white ones are long gone. We haven't seen one for sale for over a year, maybe two. The gold we were finding up until one year ago, so we bought all we could find. Now we have two left, I believe one is in a gold rim case, and one is not.
Jatukam, Buddha, round
solid silver with gold plating
1.25 inches, 3.3 cm
1/8 inch, 3.5 mm
Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand
The front of this amulet features Sothorn Buddha. The Buddha image is very clear and the surface is sort of sparkly, but muted. If that makes any sense. Hard to describe. The photos make it pretty clear how it looks. We were lucky to get some good photos. The reverse side shows an intricately designed yan design featuring star patterns, Chinese zodiac symbols (animals), and Pali (language) text.
WE HAVE JUST ONE OF THESE LEFT WITHOUT THE CASE, and ONE LEFT WITH THE CASE. We can put a case on the case-less one, but it won't be exactly as the one with the case, the case is thicker.
Please specify the case you would like for this lovely Thai amulet. We have a gold plated rim case that was the original, we have a gold plated thicker original style Thai case but with more design (fancy). We have a solid stainless steel traditional case (silver). All of these are free and part of the purchase price. In addition we could add a premium solid silver case to this amulet for another $80 USD, just ask.
This comes from the originator of Jatukam Ramathep amulets, Wat Mahathat in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Southern Thailand.
