This solid copper amulet is one of Ajahn Jumnien's signature amulets from the temple he is abbot of in Krabi province, in a little area known as Krabi Noi - called "Wat Tham Seua" or, Tiger Cave Temple. A number of monks make these shield style amulets - and Aj. Jumnien has been producing these for many years. We have a rare old copper version of this amulet that is in great shape - you can see it here. This lucky amulet is made of pure copper. It will discolor slightly with age, turning darker brown.
