These amulets are primarily used as protection against black magic spells someone else may have attempted to put on you. In Thailand, this is taken very seriously by a lot of people, and these amulets sell well at the temple.
Ajahn Jumnien is 77 years old at this point in history, and he is still traveling and giving Vipassana (Anapanasati) meditation retreats in California, Oregon, Singapore, Malaysia, and I think India! We have just two of these left. In the past we bought a handful of them as soon as they were released at the temple. We may be able to get one or two more, so if this lists as sold out - email us and let us know you want one and we'll try to find it at the temple.
