This is a lovely small Gold Phra Pidta (Bittar, Pid Ta) Amulet from one of our nearby Buddhist temples here in Southern Thailand.
Phra Pidta is a Buddhist monk which is typically pictured sitting without clothes and covering his eyes. It is said Phra Pid Ta was deep in the Jhanas and in touch with the supramundane existence. The front of the pendant is of this Phra Pidta character.
The reverse side of this pendant has a detailed square Sak Yant design surrounded by Rahu Demons who are eating the moon.
Phra Pidta pendants are for good luck, health, and beneficial for income and money situations.
GOLD or COPPER colors – please specify. The plastic waterproof case on the copper pendant may not match exactly the one on the gold case because it is currently without a case and we’ll have it put on before sending to you.
