Description
This is a first series limited edition tri-color Ajahn Jumnien Thai Buddhist pendant from the well known Theravada Buddhist temple - Wat Tham Seua in Krabi Noi, near Krabi Town, Thailand. Ajahn Jumnien started this amazing little temple and is the abbot (head monk) there.
This is a solid silver pendant with bamboo rim around the front, reminiscent of some Luang Phor Tuad oval shaped pendants in bronze we have had in the past. The bamboo is silver colored. The next level in is gold colored background, and large chedi which Ajahn Jumnien has in development near the front of the temple grounds. Other parts of the building are white and copper colored. There is a built-in eye for the necklace clasp.
The reverse side shows Ajahn Jumnien sitting in traditional meditative pose with gold sash and saffron colored monk robe. The background on the back is also gold.
This is a solid silver heavy pendant that has real 18K or 22K gold on the monk’s sash. It can be worn on a necklace, but would do better on a shrine, or Buddhist altar.
All of Ajahn Jumnien’s pendants are considered excellent for good luck, health, and protection. We have very few of these. The temple had eight and we bought all of them. Today we have maybe 2 left. Order quickly if you’d like one.
Ideal gift for someone that knows who Ajahn Jumnien is, and for someone who would like a keepsake that may never become available again. Collector’s item.
