3.5cm long | Takrut, Takrud, Tarkut are rolled flat pieces of metal, leaf, bark, or other substance on which scripture and prayers are written. These Tarkut protect the wearer from danger and accidents. Most Thais hold these in special regard as they are as powerful, or more- than amulets and pendants. These Takrud are for protection of the wearer, removing danger, suffering, etc. - especially demons and black magic protection. These Takrud are blessed rolled scrolls - gold, silver and copper foil on which are written prayers before they are rolled up and placed into this container to be worn as a necklace on a chain on your neck. This a good luck and good fortune (money coming in) Takrut necklace charm from Wat Tum Sua in Krabi province in the south of Thailand. Ajahn Jumnean, the abbot now 72, is known as the ‘good luck monk’, in Thailand. This is a new Thai amulet we will purchase from the temple for you when you order securely through Paypal. *10% of all sales goes back to the temple in the form of a donation.
