This is a gold standing
Buddha amulet representing the day of birth - Monday. In Buddhist
countries there are 7 different postures of the Buddha that represent
the different days of the week. Here the buddha is standing with one
hand raised. The case is in a teardrop, or, more appropriately labeled -
an unblossomed lotus flower shape.

These Buddha birthday amulets are
very popular in Thailand. We found this style at a temple north of us so
we bought a few weeks worth. We don't have many left. Please order

Rather than get your loved ones the
same sort of gift this year - get something completely different and
unique. There were only a limited number of these birthday pendants made
at the temple and when they are sold -that's it. The design won't be
made again - that's been our experience over the last couple years. We
buy them when see them and if we see interest we buy them all before
they sell out of them!
