Wednesday Buddhist Birthday Pendant
Theravada Buddhists in Thailand have
many rituals that mean something to them. This is one - and it revolves
around birthdays and your day of birth. If you were born on a Wednesday
then this is the appropriate pendant for you.
one one side is Aj. Jumnearn - the
abbot of a very beautiful Buddhist temple in southern Thailand. Ajarn
Jumnearn is a very pleasant monk of 72 years with a birthday of May 1.
He is a world-renown meditation teacher and he is known in Thailand as
"the good luck monk" because he has many good luck charms he wears on
his monk robe - some of which are said to be extremely powerful.
Aj. Jumnearn blesses every birthday
pendant - and there are 7 different ones - one each for everyday of the
week. The temple cannot sell the amulets until they are blessed, so he
takes a break from traveling to India, Burma, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia,
Bangkok, and the USA and UK to come back and have his birthday
celebration and to bless amulets every day he is at his home temple.
You will love this birthday pendant -
as will anyone who receives it. They are pretty durable, but not
waterproof so don't swim with them!
This is the Wednesday Buddha pendant -
for those of you born on a Tuesday.
There are seven good luck birthday Buddha figurines - one for each day of the week
matching with your birthday.
We have all 7 different birthday
amulets for you to buy here on ThaiAmuletSales.com pages.
Why not purchase in advance for
friend or family birthdays or graduations? Christmas is coming and you'd
surprise someone with a gift of jewelry from Thailand - guaranteed.
Again, this is the WEDNESDAY birthday amulet -
each Buddha is different depending on the day of the birth. The Buddha
is in different positions.
