This is a lavishly
decorated Thai Buddha Amulet from Tiger Cave Temple in
Krabi, Thailand. The front of the amulet features a replica
of a very old Thai amulet featuring Buddha meditating on a
coiled Naga (cobra snake). The Buddha is faceless - meaning,
the person inside didn't matter... it's what happened to the
person that became Buddha. Anyone can become a Buddha if
they apply the principles.
The reverse side features
a plaque with some Pali holy characters.
The case is ornate, thick
and brightly colored 18K or 22K gold finish. A great
combination with the pearly white finish of the Buddha
amulet inside the case.
Like the 3 other amulets
we have with this pearl shell finish - I really enjoy this
amulet. This one perhaps more than the others as there is a
lot more of the white pearly material to see. It's a
STUNNING Thai amulet - you won't be disappointed with it,
nor would someone that received it as a gift.
This is a new amulet we will purchase
from the temple for you when you order securely through
