| Buddhadasa Bhikku passed away in 1993 but he
left a legacy in Thailand and around the world with the hundreds of
books and pamphlets that have been published about him and by him. This
is the only English language video we found at the Suan Mokkh Temple
media store. There is a great overview of how Buddhadasa came to choose
the path he did - diverging from Bangkok politics and creating his own
Buddhist temple based on his understanding of the Pali he translated
directly. The video runs for just over 25
minutes and is a great way to introduce yourself to the "why" behind
Buddhadasa Bhikku's amazing life.
