Videos for All Amulets?

December 17, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment

I had a crazy idea today. I’m going to create a short video reviewing each Thai amulet we have and talking about it. We have a lot of amulets from Thailand so I’m not sure this is a good idea or not, but I’m going to give it a shot.

I’ll get started now while the sun is shining…

Stay tuned…

Genuine Thai Amulets – Made Where?

December 5, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment

Many people believe that genuine Thai amulets just come from Thailand. That’s true, and yet, there’s more to it than that. Thai amulets are Buddhist. Theravada Buddhist to be exact. The only place real Theravada Buddhist amulets from Thailand are made is at a Buddhist temple.

If the temple is not large enough they have monks and other craftsmen make the amulets and they are blessed at the temple by the abbot (head) of the temple.

Is there any way for you as a buyer to know if the amulet you’re buying is a genuine Thai amulet or not? There are many little hints that you can add up to get the big picture, but there is no way to really be sure.

We get all our amulets from Wat Tum Sua in southern Thailand. This is called, “Tiger Cave Temple” in translation from Thai. Every amulet Wat Thum Suea (also spelled this way) sells is blessed by the abbot in charge of the temple – Ajarn Jumnien, Thailand’s good luck monk.

We built a website to feature this temple because before this none existed, you can find the temple photos and information – along with layout – map, here:

You can rest assured that we have genuine amulets from a Buddhist temple. Guaranteed 100%.

White Buddha Triangle Amulets – Update

December 3, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment

Ok, well – we’ve been waiting for over 2 months now for the white Buddha triangle amulets that 14 people have ordered and also waited for… We’ve been told that the amulets are at the Wat Tum Sua temple and awaiting blessing by Aj. Jumnien – so, of course they haven’t lied – but, the problem is that Aj. Jumnien hasn’t come back to his own temple for a long time. When he does, will he have time to bless the Thai amulets that everyone has waiting?

Good question. He will likely come and leave again quickly as he usually does!

He’s a monk on the move -that is for sure.

So far 9 buyers have taken the alternative Gold Triangle Buddha amulet we offered along with a free amulet and yant cloth and blessed bracelets for the same price as the white Buddha Triangle. If you too are waiting – that offer is still good, or you can wait patiently until next year!

Sorry it is taking so long… if you want your PayPal $ refunded – just let us know anytime. :)

Christmas Thai Amulets? Sure, Why Not?

December 1, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment

We’ve uploaded our Day of Birth Thai Amulets and we also have more that we just haven’t time to get listed on the site yet. The new Thai amulets are also day of birth amulets from Thailand and yet these are from a temple in Nakhon Si Thammarat. These new Buddha amulets are a different style, and probably will appeal to women more than men. There is a different Buddha amulet for every day of the week – you can order specifically or just tell us which day you were born and we’ll send the right one.

Here is a photo of one of them so you can see the style of these new Thai Buddha amulets:

Go here to order one:

Then tell us which day you were born in an email to: TryThaiFood@gmail.com

With any amulet over $30 we always send little bonuses for free – and you can count on those too.

Christmas is coming soon and we can still make shipping if you want to order any Thai amulet from our main site: www.ThaiAmuletSales.com

Merry Christmas!
